Easter egg making workshop

The visit is dedicated to the beautiful art of decorating Easter eggs. It is an experience that offers the opportunity to see and work with specific tools such as the Easter egg dyeing brush, made of a tuft of hair. For decoration, beeswax heated in special containers and various colors for decoration is used.

Easter egg decorating workshop:

The local craftsman gives a short presentation about the local tradition of Easter holidays in the Orhei area, demonstrates the technique of decorating Easter eggs.
Participants have the opportunity to learn how to prepare eggs (emptying, degreasing, making traditional motifs, painting, removing wax and applying gloss), how to work with the Easter egg dyeing brush, made of a tuft of hair. Each participant decorates an egg using natural wax and colors.
