The Museum of History and Ethnography from Ciuciuleni village is unique through its exhibits from the period of XIIth – XIXth centuries. The museum's exhibition, organized according to the thematic principle, presents to the visiting public the evolution of the most common crafts: pottery, woodworking, metal, stone and leather processing, carpet and canvas weaving, folk costumes, embroidery and crocheting, vegetable fiber weaves.

Description
In the museum are exhibited objects made by craftsmen in different periods, including contemporary ones. Along with the pieces used in everyday life, you can also admire the decorative ones made with a lot of taste and refinement. Work tools are also present in the exhibition, many of which are no longer used today. Of particular interest are the samples from the „Codru” scientific nature reserve (animal, vegetable, mineral kingdom).

The museum has 12 halls: the Hall of cult objects; Military Hall of Glory; „Casa Mare” Hall; Hall of folk craftsmen –I; Hall of folk craftsmen - II; Crafts Hall; „Old Furniture” Hall; Viticulture and vinification Hall; Numismatic Hall; Electrical equipment Hall; The sample Hall from the „Codru” scientific nature reserve and the Protocol Hall.
Good to know! Here you can admire a unique exhibition of ritual bread (different shapes, dough, braids), used over time for different rituals and village celebrations.
